5 Reasons My Sister Is My Best Friend

I wasn’t blessed with a sister until I was 14 years old.  Even though we didn’t get to grow up our entire childhood together, I feel like I’ve been with her since forever. I think my relationship with her is so much stronger than usual because God knew I needed a sister and He handpicked her for me! I love her more than she could ever know and since I’ve moved away my heart literally hurts because I miss her so much. So I thought I’d make a list of why my sister will always be my best friend. 

1.) She is always honest with me. She doesn’t sugar coat anything. If I ask her something she is going to give me her honest opinion whether I like it or not. Sometimes this doesn’t feel like a good quality but in the end, I’m so grateful for it!

2.)She has my back. I know I can trust her to always defend me if people are talking about me or something I love. She will always stick up for me! 

3.) She makes me laugh. I’m not kidding, there is no one else that can make me laugh the way she does. Even if I’m crying my eyes out or beyond aggravated she can make me belly laugh within seconds! We laugh so  loud our other siblings yell at us to be quiet!

4.) She’s a good judge of character. Whether it’s a guy I’m thinking about dating or a new friend that I’ve made, she knows if it’s a good idea or not. I don’t know why and I can’t explain it but she ALWAYS knows if something is going to last or if it’s going to fail. This quality has saved me lots of heartache! If only I would listen to her more! ❤️

5.) She loves me like I love her. I know she loves me whether I live in the same house as her or I’m 1,200 miles away. When I think about how much I miss her, my heart aches and I know that she feels the same way. There is nothing better than knowing someone’s loves you that much.
