As I was struggling to find a topic to write about this week, a song playing on my phone caught my attention. The song was called “Children of God” by Third Day. This song has been one of my favorites for a long time but every time I listen to it, it hits me again. The message it has. We are the children of God.
I highly recommend watching the official music video especially if you want to cry some good tears. Sometimes, like today, it’s hard for me to focus and really read/study scripture. I believe God brought this song to me at that moment to tell me that it’s ok. It’s ok to just sit and listen to praise music, soak it up, and be refreshed by the Holy Spirit. God wants to do that for us!
